RIAJ certificates albums and legal downloads according to the amount they shipped (physical releases) or sold (digital releases).
Rock'n'Roll Circus got a platinum certification because it shipped over 250,000 copies.

Certificated are usually those things artists get when they pass those marks, like those framed CDs the record labels put on their wall. xD

Nope, next mark is double platinum, 500k, and we all know that's not going to happen XD

Of legal downloads only on 20ths, if any song from the album (Microphone has a chance) sell enough to get certificated.

Microphone might get Gold, but we shouldn't forget they've never been in the top 10, or (I think) even in the top 20 weeklies. It won't be a lot ; )
