Best Romantic Signature Songs
 

Well that's oddly specific but I was making a playlist of some of my favorite Japanese ballads, specifically romantic songs that were really big at the time of their release and are considered signature songs. Of course some of these singers (like Ayu) have multiple songs that can fit but here is what I came up with in no particular order, with only one song per singer/act:

I attached PVs or lives by the artists relatively not payed attention to here in AHS, so I hope you guys try them out.

So what songs would you choose or add in a playlist with that sort of profile?

I am currently in LOVE with Mikazuki....but I wouldn't consider it her signature song. I agree with Utada's First Love.

Well, it is her best selling single ever and a lot of people identify ayaka = Mikazuki (unfortunately). It's not really an agree-not agree thing; what I meant by signature song was one that achieved fame and recognition for the artist, and of course many artists can have various staple songs~

Acid Black Cherry - Nemuri Hime

BREAKERZ - 君の声が聴こえる ; 1 of my fave songs & it's a concert staple too

DAIGO STARDUST - Daisy

ARASHI - One Love ; it's a wedding inspired song <3

Koda Kumi - Futari de ...

Matsushita Yuya - Futari

I'm sure there're many more great romantic songs but at the moment , I'm a hopeless basketcase in this xD

Oh....I have to agree with you on ayaka then (well I considered I believe to be kinda her signature but its not like romantic right?) this is tough but kinda fun! :P

Mikazuki's still ayaka's only #1 single to date so in a way or 2 , the public still have a strong long lasting impression on the song

BREAKERZ's SUMMER PARTY is also quite romantic in a way or 2 hehe . I love the somewhat CHEESY lyrics that DAIGO wrote in there :lmfao even though the story behind it's really sad .__.

The guys's Winter Bell is also awesome too . It's 1 of those songs that lyrically will make you go awwwww

DAIGO has the ability to write songs that're either random , weird , cheesy , serious & when he write serious ones like Hikari , it's a home run for the group lol

I love the lyrical content of BREAKERZ's . AKIHIDE really knows how to write deep poetic songs like this & also for Sekai wa Odoru too & that goes for Nanzenkai ... Nanmenkai ... too :heart

I don't know if Shunrenka's counted as one as it's 1 of those unrequitted love songs & I hate it that I'm almost driven to tears EVERYTIME I listen to it T-T ;__;

BoA Winter Love. But I'm not sure if that was a signature song.

Daisuki da yo by ai otsuka is a classic and very beautiful :heart

Nana Mizuki - Shin Ai
Romantic and she performed it at Kouhaku.

A love song and it was a movie theme song.

Ozaki Yutaka or any artist who covered this xD - I Love You

Oh and of course Hirahara Ayaka's JUPITER. Oh wait this song isn't romantic... but it goes well with the others in my first post, haha~

^ i LOVE that song. . .umm its hard to think of some off the top of my head that i would have. theres so many.i like jrockers love songs but for pop i must think hard. ill be back.

edit:im not good with love songs i realize: i cant even put first love on this list. another time i suppose
