There are some discrepancies on the list though.

All the Best! 1999-2009 only sold 1.430.000 in 2009. The total of 1.700.000 adds sales of 2010.

And if you use that logic, then Exile Ballads Best was the best selling album of 2008, with a total of 1.800.000 copies sold.

Also, in 1996, Namie Amuro first held the record with Sweet 19 Blues with 3.600.000, then her own producer, Tetsuya Komuro, broke the record in the same year with his band globe, with sales of 4.200.000.

So 1995-2000 were really the golden years of the Japanese music industry XD

Nope, the top 10 is pretty much fixed. Actually, with the way it's going right now, I can't see anyone even making it into the top 100 best-selling albums anymore XD
