X Japan on World News (with video)
 

My mom came into the room and told me on ABC's World News they were going to talk about a Japanese rock band. So I go to the channel and they show Yoshiki!! I almost freaked I've loved X Japan for years. They talked to Yoshiki about performing in America and his influences. They even showed footage of X playing this past weekend in Chicago.

Did anyone else see it?

My mom told me about how it was also on the semi-local news. They are coming to Toronto soon, I think. The one time she asks me about Japanese music, and it's not a band I listen to :P

This is great! I love X Japan. I'm glad they are getting attention here in the states, too! I was lucky enough to see Yoshiki at JRock Revolution a few years back, and the forming of S.K.I.N. was announced, but I've yet to see a project come from that. >.< Of course with all of those artists being so busy...I would imagine it's been put on an indefinite hiatus.

and that's sad.. SKIN was super-epic project
but I would be happy if X Japan release new album, as Yoshiki mentioned
