[need your help] Japan journey songs
Hello everyone.
Well, I only have 1 week left in Germany. On Sunday, 29th I am going to live in Japan for one year. To celebrate but also to be able to reconnect this time with all of my memories I would like to have a few songs that I am going to hear whenever I travel or have special moments, so that I can remember everything whenever I hear those songs. They can be chill out songs, but also a bit ballad like or even pop songs. Perhaps you have something special, like: every season is another song. It's also okay when there are japanese "traditional sounds" in the song , like in EXILEs "Fireworks". Please help me out with this. Thanks in advance. |
You're going to Japan for a year? How cool! Are you going on your own, for study, work and travel..? (sry, I am very interested in this:laugh)
Do you want Japanese songs only? |
Yap I am going to live in Yokohama for one year :P
I will work there as a volunteer for the Tokyo Yokohama Doitsu Gakuen (German School Tokyo Yokohama). Well, japanese songs would be cool :P I mean, I speak Japanese, and so I think English songs would be kinda boring :P |
What do you think of :
EXILE - Fireworks or Arashi - To be free |
that's really amazing you speak Japanese :D
I would say EXILE - Fireworks! |
anyone else??
|
Rikki - Suteki Da Ne
traditional, meaning of lyrics is cool too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfTiBsRQNpc Namie Amuro - Four Seasons don't know why, this one makes me feel like i'm journeying everytime i listen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha1oNcjGSIg and how about Big In Japan? english but fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c98qdFQF7sw |
You should try these songs, I was listening to these 2 songs accidentally while I was traveling, and I was surprised they really touched my deepest heart
|
thanks so far..anyone else?

Sunshine Girl by moumoon is a perfect song for summer for me! I listen to it each time I go out somehow far :)
I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but Yuki no Hana from Mika Nakashima always remembers me of winter and gives me the chills If those works for you, I can check some others :) |
You want a traditional sound? Try Ai Otsuka's Kingyo Hanabi, Kurage, Nagareboshi, Planetarium. :) You want just a regular Japanese song, I would suggest Miliyah Kato, Anna Tsuchiya and B'z! :D OH! And Koshi Inaba too! <3

thankies.
