Which Katy Perry album is your favourite?
We've had threads like this before, and the title really explains itself :laugh
So, now her new album has been leaked, which one do you like best? One of the Boys, or Teenage Dream? Personally, even though One of the Boys had alot of tracks on it I liked, the songs released as singles really got overplayed and I got sick of them in a matter of months :no This new album has a new sound from her imo and I love it, and I think she really has grown as an artist. But what do you think? (: |
Teenage Dream is good, I didn't really like her first album other than a few songs.

Because I haven't heard the album, "Teenage Dream," yet, I picked "One of the Boys,"...my favorite songs on that album are Lost, Waking Up in Vegas, I Kissed a Girl, & Thinking of You.

It's hard to decide. But I choose Teenage Dream, she's grown as an artist and this new album proves it.

This is really hard for me. I LOVE both albums! I think both of them are very different imo and each album have their standouts. But my vote goes to Teenage Dream, it shows how she's grown as a singer. But I LOVE both albums, I'm not gonna lie. :D

Listened through both albums and I conclude that One of the Boys is the better one for me, though I think both are almost of the same level.

One of the Boys had way stronger single tracks like I Kissed A Girl, Hot 'n' Cold & Thinking of You. However, Teenage Dream was a stronger overall album, so my vote goes to it ^^

Definitely Teenage Dream ... didn't really care for One of the boys...I HATE that stupid "I kissed a girl" song (mainly because she didn't write it, and she admitted that she never really kissed a girl...stupid) and I don't really care for hot and cold.

^Katy Perry collaborated with other writers and wrote I Kissed a Girl. She has said in many interviews that she couldn't sing the song over and over if it wasn't true. I believe I actually read an interview where she described the incident that inspired the song.
Anyways, I prefer Teenage Dream, just because it has more mushy love songs and I'm a sucker for those types of songs. :P |
