It's a list of favorite artists not artists who have the most releases =/ Maybe they just don't really enjoy what Ayu's been putting out recently :shrug....though you've got me puzzled on Kumi. I guess the Japanese public have always looked at her a bit unfairly....she is a great singer and artist....

It's a random list by a company done among random people. Generally, these lists list the same results. They don't mean anything XD

People in the know have been saying Ayumi has outstayed her welcome and that Japan is tired of her for how long now?
NO surprise she isn't on ANY of these lists at all really. Only Utada could nap for these past 2 years as far as Japan is concerned and still remain this relevant. This may very well be an indication of how well she can still sell in this current environment as well. Proud of her. Go Girl! |
I think if Ayu had stopped singing after, let's say, Rainbow album, Japan would be whining for her to come back and she would definitely be on such list :p
