Previous NINKI index

You were.../BALLAD - 92.00
MOON/blossom - 90.70
crossroad - 86.40

Ooh I almost forgot SID & flumpool are releasing singles next week (surprised at how high cosmetic's but it's a great song & so's for Kimi ni Todoke)

shouldn't be that much of a problem for L to nail #1 (the no. should be higher which I'm surprised it's not O_O) as both bands haven't nailed a #1 in their career ... yet

Tasked 24th September 2010 07:54 AM

I wish they'd stop releasing Ninki Numbers. Just ninki-rankings will do, 'cause the numbers don't say anything really... but, I'm surprised the 2 bands are so close to Ayu here.... although, there's no chance that Ayu won't be #1 ;)

nanakopy87 24th September 2010 08:00 AM

i thought that the ninki number for L should be higher than crossroad O.O
but its good to see she's still the number one

Bigtop 24th September 2010 08:04 AM

What the...SID!?

KarenPang 24th September 2010 08:07 AM

~_~ :o :rolleyes

you have a problem with SID ? (SID & flumpool fan here)

I don't have any problems with ayumi taking the top spot since SID & let alone flumpool do not have any #1 in their discography (yet)

I think it's an honour for them to go up against her anyway so :shrug

What exactly is "NINKI"? Though, I'm happy to see Ayu #1 anywhere!

Sorry, I don't usually follow charts like these... ^^;

Ranma Matsuri 24th September 2010 08:09 AM

^NINKI is a chart where they poll a certain number of people to see which artists releases that week they are most interested in. It's basically just a popularity poll.

O__O

I thought for sure L's NINKI would be a lot higher. Well, M/b's NINKI was higher than crossroad and so far, crossroad is beating it in sales so it's nothing to worry about.

Just a chart of releases people are anticipating. But only 500 ORICON subscribers are allowed to vote or something like that. The charts usually do not predict what happens with the single/album though. Let it Go by Yuna was in the top 10 for that chart but when it was actually released it flopped lol.

Nackar_91 24th September 2010 08:22 AM

I'm not sure why people were expecting the NINKI to be that much higher. I know L is a special anniversary release and all, but don't forget it's generally ONLY THE FANS that care about that sort of thing.

To all other buyer, the single is just another single. It might still end up selling more than MOON and Crossroad, because of promotion, but it's not like all of Japan is on the edge of their seat, waiting for L.

Aa, thanks! It seems like kind of a shallow pool... only 500? That's definitely not enough to tell what's going to happen, especially since the Oricon deals with numbers in the ten thousands! I suppose it's better than nothing, though?

I'm happy L is doing well in it! Even if it isn't really indicative of what's going to happen, it'd be pretty depressing to find her at a low number (or not on it at all)!

freedreamer 24th September 2010 08:42 AM

what...lower than Kuu??? LOL..ultimately males are still the biggest threat it seems...but its ok. Im sure she'll prevail. the 2 & 3 are...not from avex?

actually..so long as she's no.1 i dun really care about the sales hahah. Just hope the sales will be better than crossroad. coz it wouldnt make sense if it wasnt

TITANIC 24th September 2010 08:58 AM

I really wish someone will be a threaten for Ayu this time so Avex will do anything to boost the sales so Ayu can get higher sales like MW. LoL

chu-lips 24th September 2010 09:04 AM

SID's material is released via Kioon Records which's a sub label of Sony BMG

flumpool's material is released via Amuse/A Sketch which's an indie label

sanzo2011 24th September 2010 11:17 AM

Hope that she can sell more than Ninki number ! wish the best for u , Ayu !

Mirrorcle Monster 24th September 2010 02:44 PM

NINKI do not predict sales...

rakeru 24th September 2010 03:34 PM

Hm... surprisingly low. At least there's more than 10 points difference between her and the next highest contender. Again, the only thing keeping L from #1 is crossroad, but I sincerely hope that's not the case.
