My voice -which Ayu song would be suitable for me to sing?
 

Hello everyone! (Wow, been watching too much The Simpsons).

I was unsure as to where I should've posted this, so forgive me if it's in the wrong section!

I have a youtube channel, where I have one lousy, old Maria Mena karaoke cover and a karaoke cover of a danish artist. I really want to sing an Ayu song, but I just can't seem to get it right. I want it to be perfect, but my voice is western. It's low, kinda jazzy and 'warm'. I can't do insanely high notes or fast songs.

If you think of any other songs in general that would be good for my voice, those suggestions are welcome as well. I've just been...not recording for so long, because I'm torn between choices. Ack. :thud

You had a great range of vocals! :)

Lets see, try to make an acoustic version of TO BE. But in the chorus, try not to to be pitchy on that part.
My other recommendations are no more words, Voyage, Days, Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~, Sweet Season, and LOVE ~Destiny~.

Days appeals to me a lot, but I tried to sing it about a month ago, didn't work out to well for me! But it's the only song out of those mentioned that I know the lyrics to 100% without having to look at the lyrics while I sing, so I might give it a go again. I sing much better while not looking at text at the same time (anyone else with the same "problem"?)

I really like your voice. I think HEAVEN would be a good song, because you don't sound like Ayu. So I think you could put your own twist on a ballad like that. Or Secret would be good too. :yes

Actually I think I remember a swedish member on here wrote swedish lyrics to HEAVEN and sang it...it sounded real nice! I might wanna have a go at that song too.
