I love a-nation. It's such an awesome event... I look forward to it now, every summer :) It was blazing hot last year though, haha.

I think it's because of DiVA. This sub-unit of AKB48 is contracted to Avex for its releases.

Is it difficult to get into a-nation? How much is a ticket?

No it's not that difficult. You can either get the ticket online through auctions and such, or in resale shops in Japan. You'd probably spend between 90 en 170 euro on a ticket

Unless I misunderstood, this year a-nation will be donating some of the merchandise proceeds to disaster relief, and there will be a free concert ("free public viewing?") for people affected by the earthquake. I can see them reaching out of their usual pool of artists with that kind of publicity.
