Anything wrong, Ayu?
 

I was watching this video (not titled correctly..seems to have it's personal title) of Ayu's performance of "ourselves" and "Real me" from Arena Tour 2003-2004 and something didn't seem right..

Looking at her face expression, her eye movements, and her performance.. it comes across as if something may be wrong or bothering her. She doesn't seem 100% into as I usually see in her amazing performances. Does anyone agree watching this she seems a little strange.

I don't really see that she's uncomfortable or anything...I thought maybe she was just looking elsewhere to see her fans? That explains her eye movements to the sides. But other than that I don't see anything wrong.

I don't see it.. she looks happy and really into the performances. but god that outfit and stage are horrible.

this was one of her first performances with heavy coreography... she probably was just concentrated...

One of the best performances ever and I love outfit.

i don't know if it actually MEANS anything, and its hard to explain what i even see, but i do see what you're talking about.

perhaps it was because she was having a hard time hearing herself, related to her left ear problem, or something else. i guess there's no way we can know. :shrug

I feel like a dork cause only a few other people see it! xD

But it is very hard to explain.. I just get those vibes that something is on her mind. Almost as if she's using 75% of her energy and the rest is floating around somewhere. Don't get me wrong, she did really good on both songs though! :yes

i kind of see it. but I would definitely be making that face if i was standing on that small platform that shook every time i moved. I'd be sitting there the whole time thinking "OH ******" After she gets off it though, I don't see it.

She looks and sounds amazing, she looks like she's trying to look at the audience a lot and have fun though. Other than that, I didn't see anything off about her.

Oh god, that Real me perf <3 She had such swag in it xD I don't even know how to describe it, even her subtle poses/actions just exude confidence and stuff.

I actually don't know if it's about concentration. I always found that the Ayu from that era rarely had to concentrate - everything seems so damn second nature to her, it's really impressive :laugh Thank you for reminding me of this awesome concert <3

Yes, I see where you're coming from on this~ She kept glancing around and stuff, but I don't think she was too nervous or anything, apart from when she was on the shaky thing in the air O___O This girl's got guts; I'd never be able to do anything like that without freaking out xD

But anyway, I think she may have been a bit distracted a few times, but she still gave her all in the performance, so there must not have been too much bothering her :D

I think she was just focusing on the dance moves...and not falling off that platform in the air lol

Ayu's got an awesome deathglare/poker face/srs bsns expression when she wants to, haha.

I never noticed anything wrong with those performances. In fact they are some of my favorites. :)

Outfit is amazing!!! Your fave could NEVER!
