Who will succeed AKB48?
 

So AKB48 is breaking records left and right, and causing a tsunami of idol/girlgroups to flood jpop. Which idol/girlgroups do you think will become the next big thing? This list only includes groups that have not had a million hit (i.e., Morning Musume and other past hit groups are not included). I have also excluded any Hello! Project and AKB48 units on purpose. Just choose your favs.

I'd have to say probably Perfume.

I would love Perfume to be, but they already had their moment... the rest are just, sorry but, trash, to me anyway :shrug

Perfume was succeeded by AKB, haha. I don't think they'll have another spike in popularity.

But tbh, none of the above. I see AKB's popularity lasting for a few more years, by which all of these groups will be old. So it'll be a new group. :)

No SKE48? I heard their recent single already sold more than 500k copies.

Is it okay if I say Nogizaka46? Since the purpose of that group is AKB48 rival.

Out of 48 groups, I choose Momoiro Clover, they are somewhat different from others.

SKE48 and Tokyo Girls`Style, those girls are amazing!
