Serebro's "Sound Sleep" sounds like Ayu's "I Am"
 

I tumbled on a Serebro (a Russia girlgroup) song, "SOUND SLEEP", this morning and the instrumental of this song sounds very similar to Ayu's "I Am", for a moment I thought it was I Am, what do you guys think? Do both song sample from some track or what?

Just want to say that this band was made special for Eurovision and didn't do anything original. They copy song, copy performance... and I would not be surprised if they continue to copy

I think I got it where you can hear "I am..." through this song. I also think the arrangement is very similar to "I am..."

The start of the song have a similar rythm but the note are totally different.

I hear something yes, but nothing that much that I'd call it "plagiarism" (not that you'd said anything like that)

I thought people were going to be like oh yeah they copied ayu of course:laugh

I've been listening to Serebro since their earlier days and...I can safely say that I've never thought they sounded like any Ayu song. :laugh

(and for people judging them, this is easily one of their worst songs. check out Opium, No Time, or any of their other singles first!)
