Bad performance?
 

I just cam across this old video, and Ayu's voice sounds really raspy and screechy. I think she was sick... :( Is it just me or does she sound really bad? Can you tell me what was some bad performances you came across? Anyways here's a link to the video

At least she didn't lip-sync!
It reminds me that I saw on TV a singer some years ago who had a hoarse voice & he sang perfectly XD

well I think even though she's great at performing, sometimes even her voice fails, however I totally love that kind of voice xD and I was expecting something worse xD but she sounds quite good as in such a state of it lol

She sounds good for someone who's obviously sick. :P

If anything, it was a brilliant performance. How could you say someone trying their best gave a 'bad performance' ?

I remember watching this some time ago & wondered the same thing. Poor Ayu :(...but as someone else said, at least she gave it her best shot & didn't lip sync.

I think what actually makes this performance good is the fact that she did not lyp sync and she gave it her all! I love what Ayu said in your translation, but it doesn't change the fact that it didn't sound good to me! How could I say? Its a simple as this, it's MY oppinion, and it just didn't sound good to me, but I kind of forgot with certain people on this site you can't really have oppinions... >_<

I thought she did good for someone sick and probably with not that much energy in her. She sang from her heart, this just prooves why I love Ayu as much as I do ^^

AyuFan777: I really didn't see anyone bashing your opinion, they were just giving theirs... You didn't like it, and I get it :) But her voice was that for a reason so...

Wow, now THAT was bad. It was so cute to watch though, since she was still putting her all into it. It's good to know she doesn't sound like that normally :laugh

omg she sounds so ill in the talking part. poor Ayu. Have to sing with illness like this, she did really well.

I actually loved it, haha.
