I can't help but feel like I have a unique connection with ayu
 

This might sound a little weird, but it's true. At least for me.

I've been following ayu since 2000, a little before A BEST came out. Instantly fell in love, and as some of you know on here, I collect everything, I'm even sort of a stan sometimes. Whatever, I'm OK with that.

So meeting her yesterday was so amazing...I wish I had more words to describe it. I was so in shock.

It's so weird how she writes and releases songs RIGHT around the time I need them, or I am going through something in my life that relates directly to a new ayu song. It hasn't happened once, or twice, or even three times. It's really weird.

I think the first one I really remember sticking out to me though was when talkin' 2 myself was released.

And then there was that whole thing where I somehow predicted the exact day for the release of ayu-mi-x 7 from a dream that I had months earlier. Like...it's just so weird.

Ayu's music has saved my life, and also changed it in many ways. It has helped me grow to be the man that I am. It's everything to me.

Wow. Just wanted to get that out there. But the song releases coinciding with my life and my premonition of ayu-mi-x 7 was just so freaky. LOL

So sweet to hear someone talk so nice about Ayu.

That's awesome, you know? Not a lot of her fans are able to meet her, however they would love to. Keep that day as a great memory. It might fade away your troubles when you think about it and you may feel the joy once again.

Whoo, I start to asociate your view on Ayu with my oracle cards. My oracle cards also relate to the situation I am in or give the advice I needed. But what is it in Ayu's songs what relates to you? Can you give us examples?

Did it? You know, Pieces, I do not think that was Ayu and her lyrics alone. Of course, she is a muse to you, someone that inspires you. You might let her lyrics change your way of thinking and living, but the only one who actually gave 'permission' to that was you. You also saved your life, changed yourself in many ways and you grew to be the man you are. Ayu has done a wonderful job to let you think about the things you wanted, but never believe it was her alone. It was her and you together! You are indeed a good team.

She releases so many stuff every year that it isn't very impressive that she'll release something the moment you're going through some rough time. I think you got extremely excited for talking directly to ayu for the first time, so I bet there was a lot of adrenaline and endorphine runniong through your veins, so the whole thing had definitely a magical feeling LOL

Hasn't your connection seemed to fail a little bit with the release of FIVE, though? lol

I wasn't nearly as excited for FIVE as I was for ayu trance 4 (ayu-mi-x 7) so maybe that's why! LOL

I've only seen ayu with my own eyes twice at her live concerts. The shortest distance between ayu and me was 5 meters or so :thud but, yeah, seeing ayu in person was definitely a fabulous experience for me.

This happens to me, too.

For example, if she didn't release Pride in late 2005, I would have given up pursuing an "academic career", thus I wouldn't be where I am and who I am now. Right after I got a membership in TA last month, I wrote a TA message to tell ayu the story. I really thank her.

The most recent song relateing to my life is beloved, when I was just reunited with some old friends and tried to recall the past days...

well, that happens to me too!

whenever i was down or something, and i needed encouragement, her new songs will just be released! this feeling is just so unable to describe!

the only thing i can say is: I love AYU!!!!

I know exactly how you feel, Pieces_of_SEVEN. I've had moments when I feel connected to her too. I once dreamed that Ayu would put out a single called MOON/blossom, and woke up to the announcement of the single (it was a little weird, but we already knew those two songs would be on the single by then). And all of FIVE's songs relate to my life perfectly. In the weeks before and after FIVE was released, I've had some changes in my life and Ayu pretty much mentions all of them on the album. It's so incredible, like there's an angel over my shoulder that sings encouragement to me.
