I was expecting her voice to be more powerful to match the instrumentation...her voice is really weird to me though :/ I don't like it...but damn the instrumentation in her songs are gorgeous.

koumori 18th October 2011 03:47 AM

^ Yeah, her voice and how she uses it is quite..unique? lol, she's not to everyone's tastes. :laugh But thanks for checking her out~ And I agree, her songs have the most beautiful composition. I think the song Ferry shows off her vocals the best, but the instrumental is lower there than in other songs.

PEARL 18th October 2011 06:39 AM

omg my type of songs HAHA.
do u have her album somewhere?

~Amy~ 18th October 2011 07:25 AM

OoOoo... I like ambient music. Awesome. ^_^

emi♡ 18th October 2011 08:46 AM

I like it! It's all crazy lol

and her vocals ARE amazing...well, I mean in the sense of her vocal capability lol Yeah, the things she does in Ferry is really cool, and gorgeous.

Corvina 18th October 2011 08:54 AM

Oh yes, a thread for her! :heart
Are people interested in her EP?
Then I'm going to upload it here!

koumori 18th October 2011 09:16 AM

^ Yay, thanks! I would, but uploading albums always bugs out for me. :laugh

I'm happy so many people like her~ I remember me and Kanzaki finding her through JPS earlier this year, but I never thought of making a thread for her here. I should of done it a while ago.

I just have a version without Ferry though.
And it's from 2010, you wrote 2011 in the first post.^^

koumori 18th October 2011 09:49 AM

^ Aah sorry, I went off the JPS date..but it must have been the upload date :tipsy /dumb moment I'll go correct it!

And thanks for the upload :heart Spreadin' the love~

ayufan- 18th October 2011 10:04 AM

I kn ow her for already a pretty long time, thanx to Kanzaki:)
She is really great, i bought her album on iTunes last year, and I am still addicted to it.
But I didn't know abou the song ferry, is it new?

oh and you forgot theses video from her ;)(she is only for a small part in shadows):

Kanzaki 18th October 2011 11:48 AM

Her voice is ****in flawless. I'd like to see some more j-pop/j-rock singers have this sort of vocal control.

Need new material from this woman, asap.

toniayu 18th October 2011 08:30 PM

she reminds me to sa ding ding.I really like her music *O*,but her voice is a bit weird.
overall,i like her!!!!

Lady~Deviance 20th October 2011 08:52 PM

The composition of her songs are down right mesmerizing. My favorite song of hers is "Sirens". Her vocals do sound a bit intimidating in some songs though...

AyUta 20th October 2011 09:55 PM

Her music is awesome! I've been searching for an artist like this for months! Her voice will take a little getting used to, but overall she's great! :)

Lol, I didn't want to include every song of hers she has on youtube..:laugh I only included some.

Ferry is the seventh song on her EP, Sirens. So it isn't particularly new.

susiowong 21st October 2011 10:35 PM

Just listened to Wolf. Homg amayzin'.

'Scuse me while I go listen to more. :luv2

paper_doll 21st October 2011 11:46 PM

I love this woman, her EP never gets old. She needs to release "Shadows" on something asap lol. She makes me feel like this is what Sa Ding Ding would sound like if her music was less folk/traditional-y.

What is her name!? Sen in Chinese, SEN, Singer Sen (in Chinese). I've always used the last one. Idk idk.

Corvina 22nd October 2011 10:32 AM

Singer Sen is how it is translated on her EP, so I guess that's the right one. Always used that one as well.^^

@Koumori:
I really wonder, is Ferry a first press bonus track or something?
Cause my EP just includes 6 songs and I never heard of Ferry before as well.

koumori 22nd October 2011 12:22 PM

^ I downloaded my version off JPS, I don't really know..:laugh Maybe a first-press edition..? Or a digital edition..
