"Today it was announced that singer ayaka, who went on an indefinite hiatus at the end of 2009, has created her own independent label and is in preparations for her comeback in early 2012.

ayaka, who is married to actor Mizushima Hiro, had her last performance at the ‘NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen‘ on December 31st, 2009. The singer is suffering from Graves’ disease and wanted to completely focus on its treatment in order to improve her condition."

I love her voice! Excited for this! 2 years is hardly a hiatus though....that's like Hikki's regular release pattern....before she went on hiatus too.......

^ It's more of a big deal because ayaka went on hiatus to deal with her Graves' Disease, so it's great she's recovered enough that she can work on her music again. :)
