Recommend an album!
 

A friend of mine just listened to PQ all the way through. He has heard ayu songs here and there in past, a lot of remixes, some original songs. All because of me making him listen to them in the car. LOL

Anyway, he says he was really impressed with PQ even though he had no idea what she was saying. So I helped him out with translations, and now he wants more. So I'm wondering which album to let him listen to next.

For some reason, I'm thinking MY STORY. Just in terms of genres and style. But you can give me your opinions too. ;-)

He like the Party Queen genre? Why no NEXT LEVEL or (miss)understood?

I agree, MY STORY is a good choice. :) I see similarities between Party Queen and that album. Maybe also (miss)understood and NEXT LEVEL, like other people mentioned, but I feel like NEXT LEVEL has a breeziness to it that Party Queen doesn't and I'm not sure how much your friend will like that.

I think it depends on what side of Ayumi you want to show him... she has so many different styles and what not, but if he liked party queen then i would go for more of the rocky-er stuff...

the song Duty would be really good too for the more rock-ie tracks...
My story is a really good mix of things too if you want to stick with a single album.

I agree with everyone who has been recommending NEXT LEVEL.

Why not recommend a compilation album? That's what I tend to do when getting into an artist: it gives a good indication as to their range of styles and vocal abilities.
