HANABI vs. HANABI ~episode II~

Which do you prefer and why? :)

pimenta 30th March 2012 01:24 AM

I think I like HANABI more, but I love both :heart
I don't really know why...

Bigtop 30th March 2012 01:26 AM

I prefer HANABI, but...

Shouldn't this thread be under the Ayu Polls forum? This is the Ayu Chat-Room forum, which contains all the chatting related to Ayumi Hamasaki, without polls...

^I wasn't sure, perhaps a mod could move it? :dead2

Ugh the toughest decision I could ever make.

HANABI has an amazing instrumentation (that music box...omg) and it's just so classic, but HANABI ~episode II~ is so emotional and strong...I'm just not going to vote. Both songs are too strong.

jewelbox 30th March 2012 02:12 AM

^me neither. I just can't decide.

I love the emotion in HANABI~episode II~ and Ayu sings it beautifully. It's my favorite ballad of hers.

aloopy 30th March 2012 03:41 AM

HANABI obviously, it's my favorite Ayu song of all time. ~pt2~ doesn't even come close.

This just about sums it up for me as well.

HANABI ~episode II~

This was so hard X_X I absolutely love the melody for HANABI, but episode II is just so much more emotional and I always get overwhelmed by it :luv2

Benikari47 30th March 2012 07:14 AM

Episode 2 definitely, her vocals are so beautiful and the chorus is EVEYRTHING!
HANABI never really captured me and still hasn't.

melina_t 30th March 2012 07:16 AM

HANABI
I just prefer the music, nice and mellow.

Mirrorcle Monster 30th March 2012 07:26 AM

HANABI ~episode II~
The only thing thatbruins the song is the "yeeeee, ooooooo" of the chorus

toniayu 30th March 2012 09:28 AM

HANABI ~Ep. II~
Its sounds so magical!

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 30th March 2012 09:45 AM

II.
I get why people love the 1st but it doesn't work for me as well.
II just has one of the best pieces of music in her discography (IMHO), a beautiful PV and it just sounds way more powerful vocally. I do have to say, the lyrics are weaker than the first one's.
