Who is November written for?
 

So, I was rereading the lyrics to November recently, which I always thought was a song for Mannie, but now I'm not really sure :S In the lyrics, Ayu mentions the person she's singing to having "long, beautiful eyelashes" and "bangs, a little too long." These lines kind of lead me to believe that it's about a woman. Does anyone know who this song is for? Or if she's said anything about it?

Mannie had long hair as well as long eyelashes (men usually have long eyelashes).

Natsuki Toyoda @natsukikey on twitter, Song 4 U is also, it's written using the same words she uses in tweets to Natsuki. Her interviews after Love Songs and Five both state that no songs were written for or about Mannie.

It's arguably (obviously) about Mannie, Sending Mail too IMO.

And I think November is definitely about Mannie. She probably got inspiration...looking at his long eyelashes and messy hair while he's sleeping haha

Where are these interviews?

Thought it was in Scawaii interviews but I'm not finding the right question and answer section on Misa Chan's sight. Anyway for Song 4 U just look at her tweets to Natsuki and look at the translation of the lyrics on AHS. It's all about Natsuki being her sun and herself being the moon and without Natsuki shining on her she can not shine for TA. There's also the recent tweet saying Natsuki is her one and only.

I don't know how little you guys know about celebs and publicity stunts, but you really need to get over it like everyone else has and stop bad mouthing people who have stopped believing it.


November and sending mail she never gave a non cryptic answer about. But since Sending Mail is made of lines that describe how she met fans in LA 11/14/2010, I'm guessing it's all about her fans to her. November is only (obvious) as someone above stated, when you stop thinking you know it all and realize the whole thing was a publicity stunt and that's why no papers were ever filed in Japan, not the Avex cop out answer of she was going to move to the US. Which everyone with a brain can tell was complete bull.

Yeah it's about Mannie. They were together in LA through November 2010 while she was writing and recording Love songs.

I'm with emi on wanting Ayu to be a lesbian... ever since "GREEN".... *sigh*

But yeah no I'm pretty sure November is about Mannie.

Natsuki was also in LA in November, only in L' Ermitage with Ayumi and not staying at Mannie's place away from Ayumi. And again in February while Ayumi was there again. And unlike Mannie, there's a photo of Natsuki in the same hotel room with Ayumi taken just before she was heading back to Tokyo for her own business. And while Mannie was ignored in June while they were both free for his birthday celebration, She was in Bali staying in a small bungalow with Natsuki. I've seen all the arguments before and I've seen more evidence of publicity stunt than anything you can come up with, so constantly getting threads closed for the same reason is just a stupid waste of time for us all.

Who the hell is Natsuki and how does Ayu know him/her?
