Help needed ASAP! What ayu song to play in presentation?

Hey guys, I would like to ask for some help~

I'm doing a presentation about Japanese music on Thursday. I will tell about both, traditional and modern Japanese music in it.

I think I might use ayu as one example [and then maybe something like AKB48 or Momusu, since groups are pretty popular in Japan], but I dunno which song to use!~ (> ^ <)

So, what song should I use?

Thank u for all the help, I appreciate it~<3

I wouldn't take 'GREEN', 'cos it's to special I think. It isn't a good example for the 'typical' Ayu. I would take one of her signature songs and if I had to choose it would be 'evolution'! :)

Green is chinese inspired, so I wouldn't really go for it. I think evolution is quite good, as it's anime-ish, which is rather typical japanese. Maybe Fairyland, STEP you or Mirrorcle World, Trauma?

Slower songs:
Days, walking proud, duty, part of me

If you want an Ayu song that represents "typical" J-pop, something older like SEASONS or Depend on you is probably best, because they use fairly atypical scales compared to Western pop. They're a pretty good illustration of what makes J-pop similar to US pop AND what makes it just different enough to be interesting.

Will, Vogue or Secret for the traditional Japanese vibe!

Give em some 'boys & girls'
Most Japanese people I know, they know that song.

Maybe A Song for XX?
Or SEASONS, Dearest, evolution, or M

I would say "M' and "evolution"
