Back cover of Ayu's singles

Why did Ayu's 12cm singles not have a back cover?
I have been assuming that all avex singles didn't get one until I found that other artists like Koda Kumi, Ai Otsuka, etc all got back covers for their singles.

She usually has really pretty CD designs lol that's my thought >_> I think it's unique. Like Endless sorrow. That wing with the OBI was pretty.
