How do you feel about the 15th Anniversary Tour set list?
 

I definitely feel disappointed. I was expecting a PCDL/A MUSEUM sort of length. Also, I feel like it's missing songs. Makes me so sad.

I think I'm most disappointed about the exclusion of HANABI, Real me, WHATEVER, Dearest, independent, INSPIRE, Days, Don't look back, and RAINBOW from the set list. That's my personal take on it.


What songs would you have preferred? What songs do you think don't need to be there? I don't really MIND any of the songs being there...except for SAKURA. Should've scrapped it for Dearest.

Oh well...I wonder if she'll add more songs, or swap songs later. If all goes as planned, I'll be attending the 7/27 or 7/28 show, so I guess we'll see~!

Boring set list.

I hardly watch any concerts in full. I simply pick the best performances out off every concert and enjoy them. So I will be fine with her upcoming tour as long as there are a few brilliant interpretations of my favourite songs.

I found it predictable...

So... I feel indiferent to be honest.

Kinda agree with everybody, as much as it seems fun but the setlist is predictable and lacking in some way. I only can hope she pulls a PCDL/Finale for the final legs of the tour. For a tour titled A BEST LIVE in celebrating her 15th anniversary career the current setlist is a bit disappointing.

Pieces_of_SEVEN If the Together When... swing was Dearest instead of SAKURA :thud that would be awesome like an epic reenactment of the A MUSEUM act :yes

I'm actually fairly happy with it.

It's not like she ever sings my favorite songs anyway.

It's also not like I couldn't have expected her to have a dumb song or two in there, like You and Me, or the Surreal-evo-surreal thing. or HONEY. What the hell with that song.

It would have been nice if she got a little more creative with it. Even the koda will come up with crazy mash-ups...but meh.


The exclusion of RAINBOW probably hurts the most though.

I am a little bit disappointed too.. I mean, I was expecting she would have some dramatic songs to perform, but for a concert called A BEST LIVE, it really is kinda sad.
And I don't understand why people said AT Hotel love songs was bad. To me, that was like, one of the best concert she ever held, right after Rock n roll Circus and POM.
hope something amazing is gonna happen later on.

Of course youre dissapointed that your favs didnt make the list of instead, you know, the japanese kawaii desu's favorites. Yep. And she can't perform a PCDL lenght concert or an A Meuseum concert without dying by the 4th date.

Same here. I feel like she basically sings the same songs for all her concerts, she never surprises me. Also, she barely ever changes the arrangement or instrumentation of her songs. The fact that her concerts are pretty much repeats of themselves is why I stopped watching them long ago.

The concert that was most surprising and enjoyable for me was PCDL 08-09. And is agree with the comment that the set list for this tour shoulda been similar to it.

3 dates of a 3 hours long non-stop performance is very different of 30 dates...

Well to clarify, I agree with the fact the set list should have the same content has the PCDL 08-09. Not the length of it in particular. Like ayu sang a lot of her hits and fan favorites alike.

1. i personally expected the setlist to be unexciting. But i guess its how ayu injects new performance styles to old songs that really makes the entire show. I am hoping to be excited.

2. ayu follows 100% to the top 50 list. So i feel that there will eventually be new songs added/swapped, but dont expect anything out of the top 50 list.

3. it's a votes thing. Japanese formed the bulk of the votes and they naturally voted for their favourites like evolution and SURREAL. to me, these 2 songs dont even need to be voted because ayu will still perform them no matter what. but still it took up 2 spots on the list. dont be upset. I am sure ayu will do justice to the songs of LOVE again in 8 months time for CDL. lol

You&me and Honey don't belong here...And having both Who and My all is weird, one of these songs is enough. But my main complaint is that we get just 22 songs. A BEST LIVE should be 25 songs, not less, to my mind :-) I hope she'll sing more rock songs for CDL.

It's crap. Poker Face, Heaven, JEWEL, NWTS and Voyage are nice inclusions. Other than that, it's all very "business as usual".

I think the songs are decent enough for a BEST concert, and I really do hope that she swaps songs throughout the tour, I really wanna see no more words being performed!!

However, I feel as if there's something missing, maybe it's the short set list, idk. From some of the reviews I've read so far, the only exciting part for me seems to be the ballad section with HEAVEN, JEWEL, etcetc.

But hopefully we'll get some pictures and a few sneak peak videos, then maybe I'll be rid of this "missing" feeling :laugh

Too short. Should've been at least 25 or 26 songs, but meh.

yeah, it's something i was expecting.. but i'm glad about some songs like momentum, kanariya, HEAVEN, no more words...

only HEAVEN was performed...
