Ayu songs and Poems
 

Hey guys, sorry to bother you.
I am doing an english project about songs that were previously a poem and I would like to know if ayu has ever made a song that was once a poem or did she get ideas for lyrics from a poem.

Unfortunately not. Ayu's lyrics HAVE lifted elements from TV & film dialogue and other songs from time to time, but nothing based on poetry.

Although they aren't Ayu, I hope it's helpful to mention "Dan Yuan Ren Chang Jiu (Wishing People Lived Forever)" by Teresa Teng (later famously covered by Faye Wong) and "The Highwayman" by Loreena McKennitt are both adapted from poems.

Hey, check l'Horloge by Mylène Farmer.
It's a wonderful song based on Charles Baudeleire's ''The Clock'', you can find it in her second album ''Ainsi soit je''. :)

Thank you for the responses but this project was ment to be done for yesterday and since I have the thing that mods have to confirm my post I had to go with another singer. Thank you again I will use those for any project I will have later since this year is full of projects for me.
