Seriously, it seems quality winter ballads have been lacking each year. I thought for sure this year everyone would release one. But I haven't seen notice of ANY!! Can someone update me on any/every artist participating in releasing one this year??

This is solely for the divas.

Namie, Kumi Kehova and Ayu are too busy making electro.
Beni is releasing a cover song called powder snow so that's the best so far.
CKay is trying to break America.
Ai Otsuka just released a single. dont know if its a ballad.
Utada is MIA.
Nothing from maaya sakamoto.
Hitomi is also MIA.
Angela aki is also MIA.
Tomoko Kawase doesnt do winter ballads.
Olivia is also MIA.
Miwa's latest single was September.
Anna Tsuchiya has two new songs. dont know if theyre ballads.
Boa is just released a single. dont know if its a ballad.
Kyary doesnt do ballads.
Dont know anything about Jolin Tsai.
Chihiro Onitsuka is also MIA.
Dont know much about Miliya katou.
Nishino Kana should be releasing a winter ballad soon.

Literally everybody that was relevant in J-Pop that made our expected winter ballads are either

A.) Acting
B.) On a hiatus
C.) Pregnant
D.) Irrelevant
E.) All of the above

TVXQ is releasing a winter single though it's not a ballad

Kana Nishino's is just a regular R&B ballad with no winter influences.

There are literally no good winter ballads this year. Y'all better off just playing songs from the past like Meri Kuri by BoA or You were... by Ayu.

^I checked out konayuki by BENI and I was surprised that the cover is a song from 1 Litre of Tears :thud

^ yeah it's a cover of Remioromen's of the same name , except BENI's version is sung completely in English

And yup as expected , DAIGO's Ima Aitakute... is a sad Winter ballad , the version I heard/heard last night ... omg it's so heartbreaking if not sad :thud
