Pray vs. TSUKI
which is the best ballad in your opinion...
In my opinion, TSUKI. Both songs are great, TSUKI just happens to be greater.
not even a competition
Pray slays |
Pray fosho
Tsuki is good, and very orientalish which i love, but Namie vocal always less emotional and touching. in term of ballad and the composition also Ayu emotional vocal win it. Pray all the way...
Pray
I think ill vote pray, just because there is more of it. lol
Love both songs though. |
TSUKI is one of those rare Namie ballads that just hits everything on the spot, it's basically all i'm listening to right now. Pray is really great as well and a breath of fresh air, but she has a ton of songs like this already so i'll pick Namie.

Pray
When it comes with ballads, Ayu wins hands down. Actually TSUKI it's a good ballad as well, especially since Namie ballads are usually super generic. |
Pray
TSUKI hands down.
Definitely TSUKI
There's just this chill feeling to it that's really refreshing in a ballad Pray reminded me too much of You were...which I didn't like that much either. |
love them both but sorry queen of hippop, The empress of pop wins this time :/
I like Pray more because Pray is deeper and more feeling ! TSUKI is good ballad but the melody is soft.
Pray ! I like the instrumental of TSUKI with this asian feeling but the chorus "ruins everything" in other hand i would prefer a version of pray with more of this asian feeling lol
Both are amazing but i'll go with Pray.
One of her best ballads to date. TSUKI is also by far one of Namie best ballads Great beginning of year! |
Surprisingly, I vote for 'TSUKI'.
I've never been a fan of or understood the hype behind Namie's ballad's but this one actually sounds great. 'Pray' sounds like your typical Ayu slow/emotional ballad. Nothing to write home about. |
Both are very beautiful but for me it's Pray :)
I love both songs but if I have to pick one it would be TSUKI
Pray is sadl pretty boring for me, I just love the instrumental part near the end.
TSUKI is not my favourite as well, but it's so soothing. So my vote goes to TSUKI. |
