3 Albums You Can Listen The Whole Way Through
 

as per title! try not to pull your hair out :)

mine:

1. Love songs - most cohesive album of hers, I feel like every song flows very well from Love song to Virgin Road. the mood, atmosphere & feel of the songs are all very similar, yet not too much that it's boring.. I just really love putting this album to play from start to finish

2. LOVEppears - the 1999 version of the 2014 album. flow is good, it's like listening to a really nice megamix of some kind.. except for P.S II there isn't a single song that makes you want to skip, and even that nonsense fits quite right with the album

3. RAINBOW - to me, listening to this from start to end is listening to a dream. it's the ethereal album of Ayu's discography and while the songs imo don't stand out very much alone, it works very very well as an album & of course, the flow! so goodddddd

P.S: MY STORY would be 4th but I'm a sadist like that

That's a really interesting thread, had to think about which I would actually listen through from start to finish.

Here are mine:
(miss)understood it's one of my favorite albums! I personally don't care much about flow so what matters to me is if there are a ton of songs I'd skip and with this album, I think I would skip one song at most if it would come down to it. I love the songs and the album had a variety of styles that I can enjoy :)

GUILTY again, the variety of songs makes it really pleasant for me to listen to the whole album. I enjoy the different songs and the little rock section. Now after a few years I can even enjoy the songs I used to dislike :) I just enjoy the album as a whole a lot!

Rock 'n' Roll Circus although this album has I think around 2 songs I don't like much, and still don't after a few years, it has so many songs I enjoy and love. This album is so interesting to listen to, I don't get bored of it. It keeps me wanting to hear more, I really like it!


I really can't explain well why I like those albums more than others and would listen through them but I guess I like the variety of songs and I do love Ayu's rock songs and I guess my favorite ones are on these albums :)

That`s why they are my favourite Ayu albums, although I actually don`t care that much about flow. Those albums just have the most Ayu songs I love. Or the least I hate or don`t care for.
Though in contrary to you I love P.S.II.
And my 4th place goes to (miss)understood. ;)

Actually apart from those 4 albums, there isn`t any other Ayu album I like that much. I just have some songs I like on each of the other.

MY STORY. My first album from Ayu and I used to listen through the album every night :) And I still love the whole album now.

Duty and LS are extremely cohesive and I can sit through them no problem, also nostalgic reasons too.
Party Queen is pure nostalgia as it came to me during a 'big' moment of my life.

Still my fave albums after all this years^^

LOVEppears and Duty are the only ones where I skip nothing... Most of the rest have one or two songs I skip but the rest is fine.

NEXT LEVEL - It flows.. I just flows so well..
RAINBOW - It's like a dream for me too~
MY STORY - Sometimes I strongly want to close the album with winding road, but Humming 7/4 is like a call I can't ignore~ :laugh

There's a 4th, actually.. Secret.

But since I'm not always in the mood, I tend to skip It was, LABYRINTH, JEWEL and momentum all at once, even though I love these songs a lot. :heart
