ayu on Apple Music
 

Did you guys notice that ayu, like most of J-POP artists, is not on Apple Music?
:(

Artists under Universal (BENI, DREAMS COME TRUE) are, but I haven't seen any under Avex, Sony, or Warner Bros. However, some artists that are popular from different anime shows, (such as Garnidelia) are on it even though they are on a subsidiary of Sony. So idk.

It seems you can listen to her songs on Apple Music if you have a Japanese account.

I was thinking of getting an iphone only if her music was to be available on apple music. I will try with a japanese account and see if it is possible otherwise dont Really need it tbh

That's really awful but I do think Avex artists will soon be available for streaming, it's just a matter of time. Btw the app is awesome :D

^ I hope so! I'm still getting used to the app, it's beautiful indeed but I've been using Spotify like crazy for the past two months so I need time to adapt.

I also hope avex will add their artists! It's not like I don't have the songs but it would just be more convenient to be able to download songs one might not have yet or just not on the phone.
I agree! The app is great!! I just love that everything is in one place. I have the songs from my computer but I also the ones from Apple music in one place. With spotify I'd have to switch between apps which was one of the few things I didn't like about spotify.

Another reason to dislike apple...lol I haven't been able to sync my iPod with new music since the update, and I don't use and don't WANT iTunes Match of apple music...but I digress. and of course I'm not surprised that ayu is not on there. sigh

Sounds weird... I mean there's a large majority of ayu's stuff on iTunes so I don't see why it's not on Apple music. Then again I don't know how the app works.
But you also have to ask if it's profitable. Apple's all about the money and they had that whole affair with Taylor Swift and not paying the artist.

I love this new app and I like that now everything is in one place :) it's so complete

Avex needs to keep up with the time and license Apple Ayu's entire discography already :cry being able to stream her music in the States would make my day xD

Apple take her down because her records and achievements over shadow Americas biggest :P or current active biggest
