Dearest remix, vocal track

Everytime I listen to my favourite version of "Dearest", the ''Acoustic Piano Version'', I got a feeling the vocal track is different from the Original mix, which would be very unusual. Most remixes only get a new instrumental and that's it but Ayu's singing on this very remix sounds so different.

Has anyone else similar feelings or is their even evidence that Ayu re-recorded the vocals for this remix?

There are definitely different vocals. Without a doubt.

^Yep, for sure.

I loooooove her vocals on that version.

Me too. Glad you guys have the same impression. I've been planning to ask this on the AHS forums for ages and finally did it xD

Yea, this version of "Dearest" plus Ayu's performance at the Golden Disc Award (I think that's where she performed it) are purest perfection. She didn't even look human back then. More like a divine illusion from outer space o.ô

It's definitely different - the vocals in the acoustic version is softer and fragile, which is simply perfect!

I wish Ayu re-sang all the songs for acoustic version, it doesn't feel much different even though the arrangement is amazing.

^Maybe for an upcoming anniversary she will re-record some songs. I wouldn't mind that, like she did for her 10th anniversary.

The acoustic piano version on the single is definitely re-sung. They use those vocals for the acoustic orchestra version as well.
