Ayu Wedding & Birthday Cake In Japan

Some Ayu fans in Japan would decorate their wedding/birthday cake with A logo and Ayu-pan! Would you do that on your wedding/birthday?

The title makes it sound like you found ayu's actual wedding cake, which got me all excited. :( anyways the cakes look nice. ;)

Mh, I would love if a friend would make me an "Ayu cake" on my birthday, but I wouldn't do it for myself. And if I will marry someday the day should be about me and my love and nit about Ayu. ;)

Haha! I very much agree. For a birthday party it'd be great! I definitely wouldn't mind playing a song or two during the reception and such but I wouldn't make my main centerpiece to be all Ayu-focused.

Though those are really pretty cakes and I'm happy they did the wedding they wanted! I hope Ayu sees these somehow!

Like...if the couple met because of Ayu, I could probably understand it.

Otherwise hell to the no

Thatīs why me and my husband had Ayupans on the top of our wedding cake xD (as there is a wedding dress + a suit ayupan^^)

I would put the A logo but not sure about the ayupans... And for sure I would use M or Virgin Road sometime before, during or after the wedding

I'm not sure if I would use ayupan or the logo but definitely I would use a phrase of an Ayu's song because is part of my relationship

Pieces_of_SEVEN 11th September 2015 02:27 PM

Those are too cute! Not sure if I would make my wedding cake ayu themed, but it's definitely cool.

stickyrice 11th September 2015 02:31 PM

Absolutely not lol I have plans for my wedding cake and it will not involve anything related to Ayu at all haha (cute cakes though!)

Yoake 11th September 2015 04:06 PM

For a birthday? Yes. For a wedding cake? It's something to talk and choose with the other person.

Taishaku 16th September 2015 04:05 AM

The birthday cakes look so tasty (and they're all very well made!), but to have an Ayu cake for such a special occasion like a wedding, it just seems tacky to me. :P

Delirium-Zer0 23rd September 2015 06:04 AM

It's only tacky if it's not meaningful :)

I think the best wedding cake is one that shows something special to the bride & groom... Like one time on Ace of Cakes, Chef Duff & his team made a wedding cake shaped like the Stanley Cup because hockey was the reason the bride & groom got together. It was REALLY sweet. :D

Anyone attending the wedding can judge all they want... if THEY think it's tacky, fine, but if the bride & groom love it, that's all that matters :)
