In My Mind vs. Feel the Love
 

So I heard this song on the radio and there's an instrumental part that sounds exactly like Feel the Love. I looked it up, and this is a much older song. I tried looking around the forum to see if anyone else noticed it, but I couldn't find anything (though I can't really search the song name since it is so simple).

If you start listening around 1:20 or so, it's basically the same piano as feel the love. Do we think DJ Hello Kitty is Axwell? Ripped off? Other thoughts?

I think it was more prominent in another mix I may have heard, but it's still very clearly there.

It's literally all I hear. And my boyfriend was listening to Feel the Love and was like...wait, isn't that another song?

I think it may have been another mix I heard on the radio that had the part more than just the one time. And it's not the whole song that's the same, but it's basically identical piano intro.

Maybe both songs samples the same song? Cuz maaan the piano is very similar. The structure also is, but then half of EDM songs are similarly built to a strong chorus this way

I tried looking up the credits to Feel the Love, but I didn't see anything that referenced a sample. I agree about the structure, but that that is super common. It's really just that piano part to me.

Some parts are really very similar.

I can hear the similarity on the backing track..but not so much on the vocal composition...
