Spoiler:
it looks like there isn't much more to the video after she runs into the bedroom then the bathroom. She throws some flowers at the mirror from a vase (and imo misses a chance to destroy the mirrors...) then runs into the shower getting drenched in water while breathing heavily before glaring into the camera at the end as the music fades out with just her breaths audible. I like it, but it could have had some more chaos.

We broke her, yo.

jiarongisme 23rd June 2016 03:25 AM

It's an okay ending, I guess...

Spoiler:
The subtitles are gone, interesting.

truehappiness 23rd June 2016 03:25 AM

Might be 'cause it's a TV cut? Sometimes TV versions lack things like opening cards and such.

I feel like in the shower there were times she was struggling to figure out what to do, so she kinda went back to some things she always does in 'dramatic' scenarios but the end poses and such made up for that.

ayu-michan 23rd June 2016 03:47 AM

She could have done more with the video but it was alright.

Lowkey there will be memes of this PV despite it being a dark and emotional song lol

EndOfTheWorld 23rd June 2016 04:04 AM

I think the full video lives up to it's preview. It's powerful and a bit in your face. Ayu has done one take videos before but I don't remember her ever showing so much rage before. It's kind of like a new side of her in this video. Overall, I like it.
The only thing is, I don't see myself wanting to rewatch this one over and over like some of her other videos. But I still think both Flower and Mad World are important videos for Ayu and her career.

holy_arrow 23rd June 2016 04:12 AM

A little bit disappointment for the PV of my favourite song. However, I think there is a connection between FLOWER and Mad World. FLOWER is the reason for the tears in Mad World.

The Diva is mature, she is gorgeous in the present but she lost more than getting, and now she wants to destroy the diva then to returns to a little girl who used to live for music long a go..

henrique 23rd June 2016 05:05 AM

A long take with a slowmotion in the middle and synchronized with the music its just awesome!

yamadashun 23rd June 2016 05:10 AM

She didn't break the mirror because it's a president suite of a hotel. Unless Avex is willing to pay for the damage lol

I hope there are subtitles in the album version.

I know. But it would have been amazing if she did, lol.

The shower bit at the end seems to reinforce that she seems to feel tainted as "Ayumi Hamasaki" now, imo.

That sort of thing is repeated again in Mad World with the oil.

I would have liked the end a lot more if she made eye contact with the camera (while glaring) for a split second and then it immediately cut to black instead of freezing the frame and fading out...like, what the fuck?

AyUmIXx 23rd June 2016 05:53 AM

it's just an ok video, with nothing much going on. looking forward to Mad World which i prefer more than Flower PV when i watched both previews.

a❤martian 23rd June 2016 06:20 AM

I guess her PVs are never going to be what they were, so I suppose this was pretty decent. I mean, Ayu's acting isn't my personal favourite, but she's a singer not an actress.

The end kinda gave me serial killer vibes, though lol

same though, like I giggled at the end. like what? The execution of this pv could have been so much better.

Mad World will be aired at 4 pm in Japan.

Yep, in a few hours. Also done by Masashi Muto.

holy_arrow 23rd June 2016 07:12 AM

Hope the HD rip will available soon in Jpopsuki
Mad World is promising to me :D

njanjayrp 23rd June 2016 07:26 AM

Pretty happy with the full video. Like how she is ignoring the camera.

Bigtop 23rd June 2016 07:29 AM

All I'm waiting is for the HDTV TS/H264 version to upload to JPopsuki, or, better yet, Blu-ray rip...

(though the Blu-ray rip may not happen for another week or two)

Aderianu 23rd June 2016 07:39 AM

scene at the shower was expected because we already saw it at the making

I like the slo-mo at the bridge, and the timing of her throwing the flower at the mirror perfectly coincides with the chorus so that's nice.

I just wish she would've lip-synced the lyrics though :( She lip-synced at the beginning but just didn't after the first chorus. I suppose this is trying to convey something but it just feels like an error/oversight to me. This also happens to an extent in Mad World (and previously Last minute); at one point she sings, at others she doesn't. I guess it's more difficult to lip-sync when you're overcome with emotions, but I'd like that for totality's sake :|
