I'm sorry to start posting with such a serious subject, but I couldn't help it.

I can't help but notice the difference in Ayu's shape shift. I noticed that from the time of her "poker face" single to "evolution", her body got dramatically thin.

Does anyone remember the picture series she took where she was wearing the white sweatshirt with the neckline cut off and the pineapple airbrushed on the front? Well, there is a picture of her walking away.. and it looks so awful.. not awful as in "God! She's ugly!" but awful as in "God... she's so thin..."

I know Ayu is naturally a tiny girl, but... it just worried me.

Her figure has filled out to a healthy looking state, but I still wonder... did the pressure of stardom get to her despite the fact that she says she's ok with being an Empress of PoP?

I'm sorry for starting off so serious. I was always curious as to her health situation at that poin in her life.

haha I don't think we have anything to worry about until we start to see her bones outlined in her skin. She retains a remarkable figure in the skinniest body, imo. It's rather incredible how she manages to not look bad considering how skinny she is. **Shrug**

I don't think she's anorexic, she's just really small.

She's not anywhere near anorexic there, but she's fine now ^^ like jerms said =)

bah! It's prolly the stupid American ideals of perfection droned into my head. XD (ie: too skinny=bad, too much meat=bad)

I think that it's just one of those American stereotypes that if a girl is thin, she's in danger of becoming anorexic. I don't think we have anything to worry about from ayu, though. If you've seen the offshots from the DOME TOUR, you see her eating plenty. ^^ She's probably got a fast metabolism and she has a naturally slight frame.

Ayu *is* a very skinny girl.. but I also doubt she has eating problems =/ I think sometimes she might look too skinny, but lately she's looking very nice ^.^ She also lost a lot of weight from her swimsuit modeling days, but that could've been baby fat? dunno...

maybe her stressful schedule just takes a toll on her..
also, doesn't she always eat a lot on her AyuReady show?

The Baby VOX girls are all really skinny but I don't think they're anorexic, just overworked, like Ayu. I couldn't imagine how much energy it took to do all that pop stars do. Recording, dance practice (for some), performances, CD promotions... I would be lose so much weight on a schedule like that!

actually I think it is just her tiny-ness and baggy shirts tend to make people look alot skinner than they are...

I have the same body shape as ayu, short and skinny ^_^ My metabolism keeps me eating but not really putting on any weight besides muscle mass... I think because Ayu is so active nowadays... she is starting to fill out because of muscle mass... that's what happened to me...

I don't know how asian metab works but that's just a thought ^_^ I know it feels to be skinny and people always say 'You need to gain weight' and believe me I eat healthy and work out... not anorexia not bulimea, just my body type ;)

She doesn't look anorexic.. People just get thin, sometimes; it doesn't mean they have an eating disorder if they lose a teeny bit of weight. And plus, as stated.. she is small, so that has something to do with it. :D

lol I'm tall and thin. But I eat a lot. It's just the way people are sometimes :shrug Besides, Ayu's so tiny! ^_^

Ayu's just one of those people whose been gifted with a fast metabolism LMAO ^_^ Other aspects that could have contributed to that are her clothes as mentioned, and the angle of the shots that were taken at that time? o.O Whatever the reason, I agree...she looks great right now teehee :D
