I almost forgot that SuperBowl was on til the end of the halftime show! Chibinina IM'd me and told me the details, and I was quite surprised to know what happened :eek ! And to have that happen on live TV...wow... o_O |

"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable." Basically Janet and Justin were closely dancing to the song "Rock Your Body" and at the end of the song one of the chest cups on Janet's outfit came apart along with part of her undergarment, exposing part of her chest in front of all viewers with a look of shock upon her face. Justin was in shock also and CBS quickly cut to a commercial when Janet tried to cover up somehow. There was also a streaker present during halftime posing an a referee's uniform who was carried off the field. Well, not necessarily. . .
See the red undergarment in the pictures? Rumor has it the chest cup was supposed to come off and expose the red lace, but instead the entire outfit around the right half of her chest came off and exposed that part unexpectedly. So it was a halftime stunt gone wrong. If you look at all the pictures Yahoo has of Janet right after she was exposed, you can clearly see how quickly she tried to cover herself up and how she was in utter shock. Justin also had an "OMG" expression on his face which shows that something had indeed gone wrong. When my dad and I watched it live we both said "WHA?! Was that real? WTF?!" and then CBS cut to commercial. 5 minutes afterwards someone posted a TiVo'ed picture on TWoP and then Yahoo posted pictures about 10min after the fact. The wonders of the Internet.:rolleyes |

no matter they say, this was obviously a publicity stunt. Janet's coming up with an album soon, and people were finally getting over Justin. They just needed some news coverage and some controversy to get their publicity.

Personally, I don't think it was a publicity stunt because this stunt cost a lot of people a lot of money. I think the biggest loser from here is MTV since SuperBowl will probably not let MTV do anymore of these halftime shows anymore. And I don't think Janet Jackson will need stunts like this to make her new CD sells. Justin on the other hand, I don't know lol, I never like him much but I think this will hurt him way more than it will help him. |

i dun think itz an accident...see the "decoration" on her breast when timberlake riped that garment off her...if she's not prepared for it why have it? normal ppl dun wear those "decoration" everyday because there's just no point..u can see she spent time "decorating" it

It's hard to say if it's an accident or not. It does really look like an accident but not in some point. Music industry is just getting a bit out of hand lol and artists are doing everything to get their face on news. 1) Britney + Madonna + Christina kiss. 2) Britney lightning marriage. 3) Janet show one of her b00b. And we enter Feb of 2004, wonder how many of these will pop up for 2004 lol. |
