Can Ayumi Dance?
 

Well I was watching Countdown 2000 last night and it just occured to me that Ayu can't dance. Simple arm movement and walking doesnt count. She dance during real me pv but she can't dance while singing.
In my opinion, Boa can dance (Atlantic Princess cool moves).

Ayu cant really like...."freestyle' dance.....but then i thought she danced really well in Real Me..^^

I don't think Ayu's strong point is her dance moves. While she can dance, it's not totally up to the level of several artists who normally do it (like Namie, for example). She hasn't really had to dance before, so perhaps she doesn't see the need to go "all-out" in her performances.

I thought she did pretty good in Real Me, but she's no expert. I remember seeing some live performances where she was more comparible to Elaine in Seinfeld. ^_^ Whatever she was doing with her legs, all I can hope is that someone told her to stop before she did it again. ^_^

its kinda embarrasing in the concerts tho....Evolution in Stadium Tour....eeek...she repeated the same thign like 10 times...

nope.. she can't dance.. she's usually only walking around and waving...

of course ayu can dance. haven't you seen her in the real me pv? that was so awsome dance move, and the trauma dance is kinda cute too. I wouldn't say she's an expert in dancing but she's ok at it doing like simple moves and such ^^ her stronger point is her voice skill.

She's more like moving around to make things more interesting for us than dancing though~

BoA can dance, but not exactly keep the original complicated dance and sing without lipsynching properly I heard.

Namie's the true dancing+singing queen, flawless almost, even with a song like Put' Em' Up and no simplifed dance moves. She once mentioned in an interview that "There's definately people who sing better than me, and people who dance better than me, but for someone who can do both, I want to be the best out there."

Yes, that's right: she can't dance very well while singing, but her voice is so wonderfull when she sings!!!... It's the most important, isn't it?

Oh yes, I looooooooove watching Namie dance and sing! Hmm... OT, but anyways, does it really matter if Hamasaki can dance? I don't like her for dancing, I like her for her emotion when she does live performances.

I would say that she knows how to follow a beat ... I think she can just "groove" but nothing spectacular lol

Namie can dance and sing at the same time .. but I saw a performance that was just horrible o.O ... she looked like a wood floating in water ...

Ayu focuses more on her voice. but this the thing, she gets the crowd going with the trauma dance, and everybody does it. However, when BoA dances all crazy, you dont see the audience dancing like her, its those simple movements ayu does ^^. but no: she cannot dance

The trauma dance and what she did in some kinda recent performances are completely different things. :) Ayu does well with her hands, but not her legs/feet. At all. hehe

the 'trauma' dance is a Para Para dance, it's a game where people are supposed to follow ^^ can't agree that she focuses on her voice though o_O' Since it's not usually super~~~~

I've only seen Ayu dance in Real me and of course, the infamous parapara dance. I wouldn't even call that parapara though, but that's just me.

probably you've only seen this because it's the only thing she can do.
