Ayu as Jpop LegeNd !!

Do u think Ayu is a JpOp LegenD ?? or will she be one ??

JoNaShi 4th August 2004 10:54 AM

I guess, after she died, she will be known as a Legend, but of cos, she will live to a ripe old age!

ayumaria 4th August 2004 10:59 AM

Legend is for the people who already died!
Elvis is a legend, but ayu is NOT a legend ..... yet

Err, it's a figure of speech. Just like how Southern All Stars and B'z are known as J-pop legends even though they're alive and still topping the charts...

ayumaria 4th August 2004 11:12 AM

Is that so... ? hehehe... sorry for the misunderstanding.... :P

Heh, it's ok.

With the records she is in already, (and that means her amount of No.1s contending against Mr Children, SAS, B'z, Seiko Matsuda), I'd say she's left her mark on J-pop already.

starr5245 4th August 2004 11:37 AM

she's just a jpop superstar that's all

No one knows who the heck Akina Nakamori is even though she's made more no.1 singles than Ayu has (for now), so I guess time will tell??

Camille 4th August 2004 03:40 PM

She will be a legend, even if she isn't now! I'm sure. It's not only because she had sold many albums, or that she is fantastic, beautiful (etc...) but because she has millions of fan all around the world, even if they didn't see her live on stage they still love her (just like with Elvis, who never performed outside US, exept Hawaii:>
That's what meens be a legend

I know who she is :P Saw on CD in a store yesterday. She's probably well known in Japan, her home turf.

kournikova 4th August 2004 05:15 PM

she isnt legend yet ^^ but maybe some time later ^^

tl1029530921 4th August 2004 05:18 PM

shes already pretty much a legend where she is now..

thejadedangel 4th August 2004 06:42 PM

Until Ayu makes it to the #3 or something, I can't say she's completely a legend. I'm sure the next jpop queen after her COULD make more sales than ayu and become even more famous than she was at her peak, but you never know. Ayu has had only 6? years, and if when we're old(er), we still hear about her...then she's a legend.
