Which version of A Song for XX is best?
 

this has probably been posted before, but which one? Original version from "A Song for XX", the A Best version from "A BEST" or the 030213 Session take #2 version from "A BALLADS"

I personally think the A BALLADS version was the best, it's SO powerful and captivating, but I love all the version, it's an excellent Ayu cult classic!

What does everyone else think?

A BALLADS definetly! I think the music and the way she sings in that version really expresses the lyrics much better than the original -i love that one 2 though-. but yeah i thought ABALLADS is the most moving:).

A BALLADS version, hands down.

A Best or Original version...as much as I love rock the A Ballads version sounds like noise and screaming to me -_-

It's funny though because I liked the way she sang in Memorial address.

DEFINITELY the A BALLADS version, like gogirl said it is extremely powerful and moving and for me gave lots of life to a once boring song. I don't really like the original version except when Ayu sings it in concerts cause she makes it really touching and heartfelt other than that A BALLADS versions rocks.

I say the A BALLADS version.

A BEST one, I thought her vocal was more controlled in that version.

On contrary I hate the A BALLADS version because of that annoying roaring. -_- Same thing happened to Memorial address and totally ruined that song for me as well.

The A BALLADS version is my favorite. Don't get me wrong -- I love the original version, but the A BALLADS one is really nice. :yes

Definitely A Ballads~ A Best was nice but her voice was alot better in A Ballads.

I love all versions of A Song for X X (including the ones on ayu-mi-x 4 Non-stop Mega Mix and Acoustic Orchestra Version) but I'll have to say I'm addicted to the A Ballads version (especially the la la bit at the end), so I think A Ballads version wins here!
