Which Namie Album?
 

Well after getting LOVE ENHANCED I have been blow away again by Namie and I'm planning on getting another one of her albums but which one? Please choose which you think is the best/favorite from the titles above and explain why please! Thanks everyone I appreciate it! (I didn't include STYLE cause I already know that album rocks).

Genius 2000, well because it's Genius 2000. *Walks away

Break The Rules is my favourite, it has good songs like no more tears and NEVER END. I think the songs on the album work well together too. I can listen to the whole CD without skipping tracks.

it depends on which period of amuro style you like....
I prefer 181920...if you don't mind listening to her old songs...some eurobeat style in that album.
And I don't like Concentration 20...
The other 2 r ok, i think.

I haven't listened to the others yet. I did like 181920, it has some cool EUROBEAT tracks that aren't as loud as the usual avex EUROBEATS. Plus it has CAN YOU CELEBRATE? which is a very nice song.

that's a tough question to answer. it really does depend on which period of namie style that you like. I haven't heard Concentration 20, but I would assume that album would lean more toward the dance genre. Genius 2000 would probably be pop...ish (I noticed a lot of slow songs on that one anyway, but they're all great, on the real!), and Break the Rules would have to be some sort of hybrid hip hop/pop genre. From the 2 albums I've heard, IMO, I'd have to say that I enjoyed the Genius 2000 album much more than Break the Rules (too many english lyrics), even though some nice songs came from it (like Break the Rules and better days). Good luck and I hope you choose one that you can truly enjoy for a really long time.

GENIUS 2000 is the best of those lot...I can't describe why it has alot of good tracks on it, Respect the Power of Love, Something 'bout the Kiss, LOVE 2000 etc. (Three of my all time favourite Namie songs)

So yeah, I think you should get this...and then go out and buy 181920 for lots of Vintage Namie. xD

Thanks for all the replys guys! I'm now deciding between GENIUS 2000 or Break The Rules. I think I might go with Break The Rules.. hmm I'll see I'll probably go over the tracklistings again.

And isn't LOVE 2000 (LOVE ENHANCED Vers.) JUST AMAZING... I LOVE IT

i prefer her nowadays stuff to her eurobeat stuff... u can hear her voice alot more and the music is alot different... but thats my taste in music... i fink the "break the rules" album is better then the other two...

That person probably already bought 2 or 3 Namie albums from the list since this thread was created :laugh Anyway, I'd pick 181920 over all anytime.

genius 2000- this album features the genre that Namie sings best. It's a very American album and definitely best among her earlier works. If you like dance music I would recommend 181920 though.

i had all namie's albums...and i recommends Concentration 20 over Genius 2000 and break the rules ^_^

I'd say her Genius 2000 album. I mean come on "Love 2000" and "Something Bout the kiss". U can't beat that. I thought Break the rules was a little too generic but okay if you like R&B/Pop music. Concentration 20 is a cool album too but some of the songs -_-
