I’m just a little suspicious about this... but don’t you think so that

“exodus2 and “my story” are two titles quite related?

I don’t want to start a big disussion, all for the money, everyone knows it here, but, well, just for thinks aabout it…

For those who do not know, “exodus” is the album title for te first album of utada hikatu in usa…

I don't quite get it...I mean both have completely different meanings. Exodus is when you're forced to leave your homeplace and go to another, I thought it was a clever title by Utada, meaning she was doing a exodus from Japan to US. The lyrics in the song exodus '04 is a bit clear on that.

As for "My Story" I guess ayu is just emphasizing it is a personal album?

Exodus referred to Utada's new American career. Ayu's MY STORY is, well, hers - perhaps the lyrics will reflect that name. They didn't choose something impersonal like Moments for an album name. I don't see anything unusual in it.

The title sounds totally different. If the album name was, example, "MY STORY" and "This is my story..." or "Story" it would be suspicious but "MY STORY" and "Exodus"? :eyebrow

I KIND of see where you're coming from only because I was around through all the heavy album/song title debates in Hikki Universe...

Exodus IS supposed to be about her exodus, so to speak, to the US. But a lot of it has a certain level of personal value and she dabbles in personal thoughts here and there...she has a song called "About Me"...but there really isn't a whole lot to it, at least at an easily explained level, that relates to "MY STORY". :shrug

uh don't understand this, where is this topic suppose to lead to? but exodus also means "a new beginning" and has humhum storytelling quality to it (words from hikki), but then again doesn't every artist tries to tell us stories in their works??... uh yeah ..what? I don't know neither.. is the water boiling yet? shoot...

Geez the mispelling was a typo he/she did. If you notice the "r" is close to the "t" on the keyboard :P

Well I don't know. But it´s not Exodus2 it's Exodus ´04, isn't it? I love that song. And the only phrase that relates to My Story is "This is my story." So "This is MY story"? *confused*

Oh, I know...Exodus and My Story have both the letter O and S in common.

I think Hikki's 'About me' and Ayu's 'About you' are ALOT more similar than Exodus compared to MY STORY.

these albums are very different...

Exodus and My Story are two totally different titles, that have nothing in common, imo... About me and about you are kinda similar... but that's pretty much the only thing... I really don't see how Hikki supporters thought of this one :thud

I love Ayu and Hikki both, and listen to Exodus ALL the time... *I know I'm weird* and there are no similarities :eyebrow
