ahsforum.com not affil. with the hub?

Is this forum not affiliated with the "ayumihamasakisekai.no-ip.org" hub on DC++? Because now they have their own forum, this is coming a bit clearer but I just wanted to make sure..

For some reason this entire time I thought this was the official forum for that hub and visa versa because of the name.

I think the hub was originally founded by an old member (can't remember who) and connected with the forum. However, it joine the anime network on DC++ and kind of took on a life of it's own

i think it was Omega Prime who started the dc++ hub. it was affiliated then with us then, putting a link on their MOTD to our forum, but later sometime someone else AN member took charge and the hub doesn't have anything to do with us anymore now other than the name.

Perhaps we will have a chat with him and ask him to change the name?

JojoX97 19th January 2005 04:22 AM

Well, as a frequent visitor to the hub I asked in the main chat, "Is this hub associated with ahsforum.com?"

Then someone replied, "No, it's certainly not. They're biters."

What he/she meant by biters, I'm not exactly sure. Perhaps it derogatory?

Jojo, he was JOKING when he said that... "Biters" means "stealers"

Oh no I ask you please don't do that. They value the name as much as ahsforum.com values the name and there's no reason not to keep the name the same. I don't want anything to change, I just wanted to ask about it.. cause I was a bit confused.

JojoX97 19th January 2005 04:30 AM

Heh, see, I didn't know.
