Ayumi wristband idea!
 

Ok guys, well I'm going to be having some free time and I kinda got this Idea I don't know if someone has tried this before but here it goes. My idea is to maybe make some silicone Ayumi Hamasaki wristbands similar to the LiveStrong bracelets.

They would look something like that but we would be able to make them any color and add any text. I've looked into some companies that do minimum orders of 500, but the pricing for 1000 bracelets is $0.99 per bracelet, with a $399 mold fee. that works out to $1329 to have them made.

I still don't have a set price that I would sell them at because I don't know if this idea will really work. Thats why Im trying to see how many people would actually be interested in purchasing one. I'll probably post this idea in other ayu forums and if I get enough people interested I'll make this idea happen. Also I looked into making some ayu stickers made that would be shipped with the bracelets. Heres a sketch of what the bracelets and stickers would look like.

These are only sketches, I was thinking maybe we could have a contest where people would design the "logo" for the sticker and the same for the silicone bracelets. So guys let me know if you guys think this is a good/doable little project if so maybe I can REALLY start getting into it and make it work. If you guys have any ideas/questions or suggestions please lte me know. I really think this would be cool.

Hmm, I dunno, the idea of these bracelets was to raise money for a particular cause.

Also, pink is the color of the breast cancer awareness bands.

And the bracelets... if 3 different colors could be made that'd be cool. Pink, black, and white.

Oh my. I would SO buy these. We could possibly get them in HOT pink instead of the light pink for breast cancer.

But can they do Kanji would you think? And could they do the A logo? Because no ayu think would be enough w/o the A!

Which site/company did you get the pricing from? We've been looking at making Farscape ones for the campaign for awhile now, and all the pricing has been outrageous, but that price is a lot lower than what we've been looking at.
