There was some talk about this a while ago..
According to some ppl Ayu is not participating in this yr's Japan Gold Disk Award...
I just wanted to noe if it was true because this matter kinda became quiet after a while...

It's not been held yet this year - usually ocurrs in March (statement might not be correct - am guessing from Japanese site's contents).

Strange though that it's website has no info on the 2005 show yet. In fact there's so little on the web about the 2005 show that I'm even sure if it's being held this year.

The 19th Gold Disc Awards will be held on 10 March 2005.

The Gold Disc Awards are based on sales only.

I hope Ayu will win.

Why wouldn't she particapate?

There was some awards thing that Ayu said she wasn't going to particapate in. I forgot which one it was though... I don't think it was the Japan Gold Disk Awards, though.

one of my japanese friends told me that she wasnt gonna participate in some award... not sure which one, but she has won it for the past couple of years.

the reason why is because she was thinking about leaving her producer or something, and it became really big, but then she decided to stay, and she believes that she is not 'worthy' of competed in the award show. ill try to get more info
