Internet Radio

I have always wanted to listen to japanese radio over the internet, but I have never been able to get any radio station to work, not even local stations. Is anyone familiar with internet radio? are there common mistakes that I am probably making? Also, is there anyone that listens to japanese radio? are there any good stations that you can suggest to me?

You can get some pretty good stations on shoutcast.

You're going to need winamp to play them, but it's worth it. You can get some really good korean stations also.

A lot of people like Japan-A-Radio, but that's really J-pop for beginners and it plays really annoying anime music. I like kawaii radio more. It plays a little anime, but it plays more musical scores and instrumental stuff, which I like better than anime music that has some "singing".

For Korean pop I like MUKULCAST or Dreamcast. MUKULCAST has some very entertaining hosts.

Finaly!

I was worried this was going to go down as one of those no reply posts! Thank you for the tip!

I used to listen to some stations with Japanese music on Live365.com. That might also be a good place to try.

Yeah, I think Japan-A-Radio is annoying too. Most of the time, I have trouble connecting to it on winamp. I just type in jpop and listen to Anime Academy Radio, Armitage, Kawaii, Keiichi, and SickOnion (funny name, but plays some good Jrock xD)

I discovered j-fan.com/radio a few days ago, and I really like it. Sometimes I switch to Japan-a-radio, but I prefer J-fan Radio.
