do you think that INSPIRE PV are much Thailand-ic?

well, the first impression when I watched the PV is "VERY EXOTIC" especially when I see ayu's nail, it remind me of an ancient kingdom in SouthEast Asia which most of the women uses a fake fingers, and its shaped like that... hmmm I think it's Thailand... is the director inspired from there? hmm.... by the way, I love the dance, and now I'm trying to make the dancestep... LOL... I'm such a busy people...

maybe it was inspired by thailand, but the PV was shot in Los Angeles, USA...

Yeah, I got a Thailand vibe from the "INSPIRE" PV too.

Every Heart <3 5th June 2005 07:03 PM

INSPIRE had a very Hindu & Tailand esk feel to it. Especially her clothes and style of dancing.

Brittany 5th June 2005 07:12 PM

I love how she's inspired by different countries and cultures.

Yeah same here..espeically when Ayu was sitting on the cart (? dunno the correct term for it) being pulled by the horse, it was like she was an Egyptian Queen.

i think its more to thai.. u noe.. those thai 'feelings' :D

bernardation 5th June 2005 11:29 PM

that's the reason i love this pv. all these inspirations in other countries and cultures.
"inspire" is just great !

Hugo_Perry 6th June 2005 12:05 AM

Yip! I think it's more to Thailand because traditional Thai people use those thingy on the fingers for dancin' as a offerin' to their god or goddness...

Nu-NRG 6th June 2005 02:06 AM

I thought the same thing when I was watching the dancing part...with the candles scene especially
the nails but the clothings is more like malay/s'pore-ish?

alternarist 6th June 2005 08:25 AM

lol.. i think the golden costume is rather malay-ish.. den the nails is rather thai-ish.. total up, i think it is more of egyptian type lol.. the butterfly on her back.. nice!

Deep snow 6th June 2005 08:40 AM

I think it's neither thai or egypt, i think it's more like....ayu :P

jerms 6th June 2005 06:42 PM

in my opinion, she did nto have a specific country to "inspire" the pv. she used basically all the interesting ones, including AFRICAN (which nobodys mentioned) and thai..and maybe some hindu. she kind of mixed them together and they worked together to look nice.

lolo66 7th June 2005 09:53 AM

It's definitely very new age. My personal vibe was gypsies mixed with Bali dancers. hehee
