Ayu in Germany
 

I hope this hasn't been posted before, I couldn't find any topics on this subject..
How popular is Ayumi in Germany? I heard she released some German singles, does anyone know where you can buy them? I'm going to Germany this summer, so I was hoping to find some Ayumi or other Jpop CDs while I'm there. Can anyone recommend any CD shops that sell Japanese music?

The German Singles you should get in every normal Record store, but I think that you must order it there, because they don´t have them in stock i think (except the newest "appears") *but the most stores can´t order M anymore, so this single is very hard to get*
J-pop Cds are very hard to get in Germany. I don´t know where in Germany you will go, but in Berlin and Munich there is a store called NeoTokyo that sells J-pop/J-Rock CDs. You can find Infos Here! *You can buy German Gackt Realases there^^*
And in Düsseldorf and Franfurt/Main there are also Japanese Bookstores that have some CDs, but I don´t know the addresses^^;

Thanks for the info :) It's too bad you have to order some singles, I'm only staying for a week so I won't be able to order anything..
I'm going to Dresden and Leipzig (East-Germany, Saxony), but I don't live very far from Düsseldorf, so maybe I can go there on my way home.. :)

In Düsseldorf there is also a shop that sells Hi-Chews if you´re interested ;)

sorry but ayu is almost unknown in germany. i had a very tough time finding her drizzly cds in germany

You can also get some of those german singles on the normal amazon.com site. Just search for "Ayu" and I think Naturally and Depend on You will come up. I've seen Connected on there as well. You can also find them on ebay. Between the two, I've managed to get most of those singles, just missing M and Appears. :)

The DJs may be well known in Germany, but not Ayu really.
