I found Ayu CDs at the library. XDD

I was at the City Library and I was browsing in the CD section, then suddenly I saw A Ballads sitting there. I grabbed it, but then noticed that it was classified as a chinese CD. XDDD

1. Have you ever found Ayu stuff somewhere you wouldn't expect it to be before?
2. Are you sick of people calling all asians chinese? XDDD

Joel 12th August 2005 03:24 AM

1. Psshh~ I wish
2. Yes everytime i mention ayu's name they say something like "Oh, thoughs Chinese things you like." :gnash

stardusties 12th August 2005 03:25 AM

1. yes...twwas is a tokyo airport...Oo; dunno how i found it amazing that magazines of her were there
2. -_-...YES..VERY! >| -strangles the next person who calls someone Chinese-

[taskin.ayu] 12th August 2005 03:26 AM

I'm sick of it too. xD And when you tell them that she's Japanese, and not all asians are chinese, they go "meh they all look alike." D:

Corybobory 12th August 2005 03:31 AM

I saw Ayu pictures on the display computers in Ikea ^^

and 50% of the population in Vancouver is Chinese or Korean, so it's understandable why people get confused here. Of course, I know if I go to another country poeple will assume I'm american. It wont bother me, I'll just be sure to correct them ;)

Coelacanth 12th August 2005 03:38 AM

I stopped correcting people a long time ago. Those people that I have corrected about Ayu or whoever being Japanese, they still call them Chinese. Very spiteful people. :shakehead

Qt Mashi 12th August 2005 03:58 AM

1. Ummm no i don't think so, it would be kool~

2. Nah my friends are all asians so yeah....

Qsenwill 12th August 2005 04:00 AM

paper_doll 12th August 2005 04:11 AM

01. I was just actually surpised to see it there. I saw a CM for the store and they said they "had everything" and I took their word for it XD
02. Yes! It's all the time T_T; They see people from Asia, they're atomatically Chinese.

orangeland 12th August 2005 04:16 AM

How do you find Cds in a library? MY library is old and dusty, filled with old crosseyed people and a card catalog system X_X

Meh, I don't really care if they call them chinese, they are descendants of the chinese after all :p

JinHamasaki 12th August 2005 04:41 AM

If you attend a university you probably have access to WorldCat - an international library catalog and you can find ayu cds at many libraries worldwide :D

[taskin.ayu] 12th August 2005 04:46 AM

Most of the libraries here in Australia have CDs and DVDs now. xD

Corybobory: Wow at Ikea? Cool! XD Must be some fans working there. =p

momobean 12th August 2005 07:12 AM

1. Yeah I think I did. Ayu stuff is common here though, lucky for me..

2. I haven't had people doing that to me, though I'd be pretty peeved. I'm Chinese by the way..

Syphex 12th August 2005 07:18 AM

I've been trying to shop around chinatown in Vancover during my week there for hamasaki stuff, unfortunately it was filled with *gasp* mostly chinese music and DVD's and no japanese. =(

AyuGAME 12th August 2005 07:33 AM

1. i have when i was walking in the beach there is a woman that use a t-shirt that have a BIG face of ayu..
2. hmm..i think so

[biku] 12th August 2005 08:57 AM

What really bugs me is when they assume that if you're in a group of asians, you are all related. Agh.

Gunblitze 12th August 2005 09:57 AM

1. no...but i do hope i find something soon hahaha
2. yes lol

happytoadstool 12th August 2005 10:43 AM

1. I did! I was at this small department store and they were selling hair accesories and they were using a picture of ayumi hamasaki, though the cardboard where her picture was printed says "cute pretty". all the pins were in small clear plastic bags which were stabled on the cardboard thingie. The place is known for selling Chinese-made low quality goods such as shirts, cellphone cases and opther accesories

2. Yes I am... It's annoying how people confuse Japanese, Koreans and Chinese. I'm a pure Filipino but I am always confused as being a Chinese, Japanese or Korean by most people so I know how they feel.

[AHS]MortalSex 12th August 2005 11:34 AM

1. lol If I found it in a library I would sneak out with the stuff in big loads XD
2. yupp people should notice that for example chinese and japanese are no the same and besides that they´re like enemies so whenever I let my friends listen to japanese music they just call it off loud: yoooo nice chinese music! I just say: Damn! remember it´s japanese music not chinese... but they never learn they just continues XD
