This one is only based on the MTV stations across the globe I believe. All the stats are via MTV (popularity of video, requests, etc)

But what's that? I mean, it's not a MTV airplay chart because almost all of them are from Japan and they can be popular around Asia, but they're not in Latin America, Europe and USA, so it's unlikely.

Yeah, I don't think it' a real "world" chart but actually, a japanese chart with national and international artists mixed, so those statitics are actually based on japanese population. (honestly, you don't think HIGH and MIGHT COLOR would be the tenth most played band on MTV wodly, ne?)
