is kanariya a B-Side track???? O_o

i was searching a complete database of every release ayumi hamasaki albums/singles/remixes/exceprts/ etc.

it can't find kanariya on her albums... should it be in the LOVEppears album? but it wasn't on the tracklist >_<
so is kanariya a b-side single????

and if anyone here know an updated complete database of ayumi hamasaki release... can anyone share a link of it? ^^
i'm organizing my ayu albums in their release dates...^^ arigatou!

PickleCookies 26th September 2005 08:05 AM

No. It's a hidden track on LOVEppears. Keep listening to "Who..." and you'll find it.

*baka*..... >_<
T____T
im stupdi nyahaha! i didn't notice that... >_<
anyway anyone know a database of ayu's cd or everythign she released?

Oh btw, b-sides are songs which "come with (eg. c/w)" the main single song. B-sides are songs which appear on the single, but aren't the singles main track.

For example, HEAVEN was the a-side (main track) and will was the b-side (it came with HEAVEN). Therefore it is impossible to have a b-side single where there is only one song (excluding remixes).

HEAVEN may be a "double a-side" single...

starr5245 26th September 2005 09:39 AM

yep. not all c/w are B-sides. Take GAME for example. The only three b-sides she have are Ever free, Two of us and Theme of A-nation 2003

SunshineSlayer 26th September 2005 10:24 AM

Will is not being promoted with Heaven at all and also did not have a PV. I would consider it a B-Side. (even though I prefer it to Heaven)

If a song is not a part of the title of a single and it's not included on an album, mostly it's a "B-side". There are exceptions though, f.ex the SPEED STAR by namie wasen't included on her latest album, but SPEED STAR/Girls talk was a double a-side for sure. If "will" will be considered a B-side remains unanswered, but as for now, I would consider it a B-side, since it has en't got any promotion at all except for the CM. If it appers on the next album and/or gets a PV (which seems likely to me at least) I'm unsure.

It wasn't. Will was it's b-side, which is why it was called "HEAVEN c/w will"

GAME was a b-side i'm sure. You are also missing alterna which was also a b-side.

B-sides do not mean they are not allowed to have many promotion at all. That is a misconception. It just means that they are not a "main track". The name derives from when singles were released on 12" inch vinyls where one song appeared on the same side (a-side) and as an extra, there was another song on the other side (the b-side).

Or in other words, a song "came with" ("c/w") the single.

Again, you can't have a b-side single if there is only one original track.

Also b-sides can appear on albums. Many don't but that is simply because it was decided that they wouldn't. Lately Ayumi has also put in lots of effort to make her b-sides the same quality as her a-sides, so it would be a waste if it weren't put into her albums.

and Theme of A-nation 2003
is not a b-side...because the song is part of a EP (EXTENDED PLAY)

and HEAVEN is a maxi single

REMEMBER:

SP (SINGLE PLAY) = 2 SONG ( in some cases with karaokes)
with one A side, like "INSPIRE" "STEP you" "poker face" "Depend on you"
and one B side, like "GAME" "is this LOVE?" "FRIEND" "Two of us"

EP (EXTENDED PLAY) (mora than 3 original songs) like "a" "}{" "&" "Memorial Address"

LP (LONG PLAY) = is a album with more than 8 songs like "I am..." or "MY STORY"

and the MAXI SINGLES that includes REMIXES and other stuff ...like HEAVEN"
"Fairyland" "Voyage" or "forgiveness"

:)

No, maxi just means it's on a 12" CD.

well gee thanks for mentioning my site :( It's not complete, but it DOES have all singles & albums.

It has a search box on the corner, and the same sort of song list as at eneabba but more complete. Hope it helps.

I'm sorry Del! I've seen it in your sig so many times, but it just completely slipped my mind. I'd definitely suggest it to others as well; it's a great resource and it's very well-organized. :)

Sankyuu Love Appears you're nice again! *hugs hugs* hehehe... dont' worry about it. My site isn't the prettiest thing on earth, and it IS horribly incomplete. But it at least has a big ol' song list! :)

I REALLY need to get those CM pages finished x_X!!

is this LOVE? was an A-side mind you... Her first double a-side. Other wondered why the single was called STEP you/is this LOVE? and no STEP you or STEP you c/w is this LOVE?

Plus on her H single add it says "new maxi single... H" H. did not contain remixes.

Delirium-Zer0 27th September 2005 10:02 PM

I think 4 or less tracks, regardless, is just a single, and anything more is a maxi single.
