Finger things in INSPIRE PV?

Does anyone know, what are those pointy things on Ayumi's fingers called in the INSPIRE PV. I need the name for them and also if anyone knows where they can be purchased that would be very helpful as well. Thanks!!!

I don't think there's any name much less a retailer for these. You could simply make these yourself (cheaply) by wrapping foil around your finger tips and molding it to shape and hooking it at the tips or I could think of several more expensive ways to make them if you wanted them to look ever so pretty and shiny.

Making a costume?

I dont no if you can buy those...hehhee, but then look around @ Ebay or something~ you gonna dress up like Inspire Ayu for halloween? :O

Chibi_Venus 18th October 2005 02:36 AM

I was thinking of dressing as Ayu from the Real me PV, but I would need more time for that. :D And my mom keeps saying, "Yeah, but you should be someone who people will know." Anyway, I'm sure they'd be easy to make with some household items (boy, do I sound like a designer from HGTV...). That, or a very expensive manicure. :P Just kidding.

off subject, but this halloween i'm going to be one of dr. seuss's "thing"s.

I've seen nails exactly like the sold in this store called "Ricky's" :)

Ayumi no Yume 18th October 2005 04:15 AM

Omfg. i needed those pointy things for halloween too.
anyone know any other ways to make them?
(That isn't dangerous >.>; )

The most over the top way I can think of would be a foam molding material with wiring covered in monofilm but it's been ages since I've used monofilm and I forget exactly what surfaces it's appropriate for. Honestly I'd say just go for the tin foil idea, get a bunch to mould around your finger to make the basic shape and wrap with a skin of perhaps craft foil (thicker and shinier), twisting it towards the end and pulling it down in the hook. Cheapest, easiest, and quickest way I can think of making those and heck, it's halloween, you don't need to go nuts on details looking utterly perfect.

Or you could go RAINBOW on us and glue/tape tissue to your nails! :DDD

I found them for sale in street vendors in China. The nail things.

hopeorpain 20th October 2005 03:34 AM

Empresses of China wore those back in the dynasty era. I suppose that they originate from China...

ohsixthirty 24th October 2005 07:26 PM

cool, thanks for the info. never knew they had a connection to china. :)
