It's impossible to completely remove vocals from a musical piece. Ok, I'll explain. The vocals are integrated into the song, that is they are paired with the music. If you take away the music, you will no doubtly take away the vocals. Most songs have vocals only the center area of the wave file so you can try to rip that out, but the instruments there will also be included.

In conclusion, the computer cannot fully distinguish what is singing and what isn't. That's why you can't rip vocals cleanly and completely.

Sorry.

just like those fan made vocal tracks they make, it's not completely pure. Like how you listen to Ayu's intrumentals, you can hear her backup voice.
